AUBURN, Ala. —
Kayla Keefer scored a stunning one-timer on a pass from
Alexis Washington but Auburn tallied an equalizer on a penalty kick just four minutes later as the Sooners (9-3-4, 2-3-3 SEC) played to a 1-1 tie at Auburn (5-5-5, 1-3-4 SEC) Thursday, Oct. 16.

Caroline Duffy came up to make a save in the 7th minute to keep things even 0-0 as the Sooners held off an aggressive Auburn attack in the opening half.
OU broke the tie in the 59th minute when Washington crossed a beautiful pass into the box that Keefer volleyed top shelf and past the Tigers' keeper for a 1-0 lead.
Auburn evened the match up four minutes later when a foul on the edge of the box was issued, sending Erin Flurey to the spot with a chance to tie. Flurey hooked the attempt left post as Duffy dove and got a hand on the shot before it bounced into the back of the net.
The Sooners kept the pressure on, posting six second half shots. Oklahoma had a pair of corner kick chances in the 89th minute, but Auburn staved off the attack which included a Keefer header on frame.
