Janet Jones joined Oklahoma Athletics in 2002 and serves as a Learning Specialist.
In this role, she works with at-risk student athletes and serves as the liason for the ADRC. Jones received the 2018 OU Distinguished Performance Award for her work.
She earned her bachelors degree in early childhood education and earned her master’s degree in special education – both from the University of Oklahoma.
Jones is very involved with her grandchildren – Lillian, Talon and Jackson – and enjoys rescuing vintage photographs to research and unite them with descendants of individuals in the photographs.
