NORMAN – Oklahoma women's basketball head coach
Jennie Baranczyk announced Tuesday the addition of Parker Sizemore to the program's performance staff as assistant director of strength and performance.
A rising star in the sports performance industry, Sizemore brings a unique blend of WNBA and SEC experience to Norman. Her data-driven and relationship-centered approach to training aligns seamlessly with Oklahoma's athlete-first philosophy that has produced five All-American honorees over the last four seasons.
"I could not be more excited to have Parker join our staff," Baranczyk said. "She's one of the most dynamic and driven strength and performance coaches, bringing elite experience from both the SEC and the WNBA. Parker's competitive edge and holistic, relationship-driven approach to training — blending strength, recovery, sports science and performance analytics — will elevate every facet of our program. She will make us tougher, smarter and more complete."
Sizemore joins the Sooners after two seasons with the WNBA's Atlanta Dream, where she served as performance coordinator and data analyst. In that role, she played a key role in integrating performance technology and data into day-to-day training decisions. She designed and implemented individualized recovery and performance plans, collaborating closely with medical staff to optimize output and support long-term athlete health. With Sizemore on staff, the Dream made back-to-back postseason appearances in 2024 and 2025, including a 30-win season in 2025.
Prior to her time in Atlanta, Sizemore was part of the strength and conditioning staff at Mississippi State, gaining SEC experience supporting student-athletes in a performance-focused environment. She began her professional career at the University of Texas, where she contributed to the athletic performance staff and supported multiple Longhorn programs as a sports performance intern.
A Bellaire, Texas, product, Sizemore earned dual bachelor's degrees in exercise science and applied movement science from the University of Texas in 2023, followed by a master's degree in sport management from Texas A&M in May 2025. She is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach.
Sizemore and the Sooners open the 2025-26 season on Nov. 3 against Belmont at Lloyd Noble Center. Tip is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. CT.
