LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Oklahoma volleyball team dropped a three set match at No. 5 Nebraska Wednesday evening (-22, -23, -14). The Sooners (19-9, 11-6 Big 12) were able to stay with the Cornuskers (25-2, 17-1 Big 12) through the first two sets, but NU overtook the third to win the match.

Suzy Boulavsky led the Sooners with a match-high 15 kills and .367 hitting percentage. Boulavsky connected on half of her total attempts. Caitlin Higgins added eight kills, hitting .240 and adding one of OU's two block assists. Morgan Reynolds hit .250 with six kills and had her third block solo of the season.

Brianne Barker had 30 assists and five kills while hitting .300. Barker commanded the OU offense to a .216 hitting percentage. Defensively, Eden Williams led the Sooners with 13 digs, while Maria Fernanda added 10. Reynolds was credited with Oklahoma's only block solo and Higgins along with Sarah Freudenrich had the Sooners' only block assists. OU recorded 40 digs on the night and Williams had the Sooners' lone service ace.

Brooke Delano led Nebraska with 10 kills. Hannah Werth and Lindsey Licht each added nine. Sydney Anderson had 22 assists with Lauren Cook adding 18. Werth had 17 digs and Kayla Banwarth added 10. Delano had a match-high four total blocks as the Huskers had six total blocks on the night. Nebraska also had 48 digs.

Oklahoma returns to action Saturday against Kansas State. First serve from McCasland Field House is set for 3 p.m. CT.
