NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team heads to Evanston, Ill., for the Wildcat Invitational at Northwestern Oct. 12-14.
Six Sooners will compete in both singles and doubles after a two-week break from competition after the Country Club of Little Rock Invitational and University of Texas Invitational.
“We are looking forward to competing in the Wildcat Invitational for the fifth straight year,” OU head coach David Mullins said. “We get to compete against a lot of the top Midwest teams that we rarely see during our spring season.
“The level of competition is always extremely high. This event will undoubtedly have us prepared for our regional tournament in Tulsa the following week.”
OU’s doubles lineup includes Emma Devine and Mia Lancaster, Zita Engbroks and Abbi Melrose and Hermon Brhane and Whitney Wofford.
