NORMAN, Okla. - The No. 43 University of Oklahoma women's tennis hosts Minnesota Sunday, Feb. 10, at 12 p.m. CT at Headington Family Tennis Center.
"I am excited about this weekend as I believe it will be the first time we are 100 percent healthy." OU head coach David Mullins said. "We are still trying to work out our most effective singles and doubles lineup and this weekend will move us one step closer to that."
Oklahoma (2-2) lost its first home match last Saturday to Rice, 4-3. ITA No. 99 Hermon Brhane upset No. 50 Natalie Beazant in No. 1 singles.
The 55th-ranked doubles team of Brhane and Whitney Ritchie captured an 8-5 victory against Rice's 56-th ranked duo of Beazant and Dominique Harmath.
Minnesota (2-4) enters Sunday on a four-game losing streak after beginning 2013 with victories against Marquette and Montana.
"We still need to get a little tougher at certain spots and I have no doubt that Minnesota will push us to be at our best and toughest throughout the dual match." Mullins said.
