Entering the 2013 NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed, Oklahoma lived up to its ranking with a dominant 17-0, five-inning win over Marist.

Sooners Ready to Host Regionals

No. 1 overall seed Oklahoma takes on Marist at 7:30 p.m. Friday night in the NCAA Regionals in Norman, while Fordham and Arkansas kick things off at 5 p.m. All the games will be carried by ESPN3.

Six Sooners Named All-Region

Six members of the No. 1 Oklahoma softball team have been named to the 2013 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I All-Central Region Team. The six honorees tie a school record set in 2005 and matched in 2007.

Sooners Take Home Top Big 12 Awards

Patty Gasso was named Big 12 Coach of the Year for the second year in a row on Tuesday, while senior Keilani Ricketts took home Pitcher of the Year honors and sophomore Shelby Pendley was chosen as Player of the Year.

Sooners Earn No. 1 Overall Seed

Coming off the program's 10th Big 12 title, the Oklahoma softball team (47-4, 15-2 Big 12) has earned the No. 1 overall seed in the 2013 NCAA Division I Softball Championship and will host an NCAA Regional in Norman.
