Sooners travel to play at Texas Tech, No. 17 Oklahoma State.
NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma (4-5-3, 0-1-1 Big 12) hits the road for the first time in Big 12 Conference play this season as they travel to Lubbock, Texas, to play Texas Tech on Sept. 28 before a Bedlam Series rematch with No. 17 Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., on Sept. 30.

Friday's game between OU and Texas Tech (8-3, 0-1) is the 16th in the series, with the Red Raiders holding an 8-6-1 advantage. The series has been extremely streaky, with Texas Tech claiming victories in the first four matches, followed by six-straight Oklahoma wins. After a tie in 2007 in Norman, the Red Raiders have claimed the last four contests. After two-straight games in Norman, the series returns to Lubbock for the first time since 2009.

Game 14 | at No. 17 Oklahoma State
After a 1-0 win at home on Sept. 7 against then-No. 3 Oklahoma State, the Bedlam Series resumes on Sept. 30 with a matchup in Stillwater. While the 17th-ranked Cowgirls hold a 17-3-1 series lead, they'll be looking for revenge on their home turf. OU's last victory in Stillwater came in 2005.

Sunday's Bedlam Series match against Oklahoma State will be broadcast live on FS Oklahoma. The appearance marks the fifth time in the last eight games the Sooners will appear on TV. Friday's game at Texas Tech will be webcast live on TexasTech.com.

#17 Sam Howell | Jr. | M | Colleyville, Texas (Colleyville Heritage HS)
Sam Howell assisted on Renae Cuellar's goal last week against Baylor, helping the Sooners tie the No. 25-ranked Bears, 1-1 last Friday in OU's Big 12 opener. Sam also has 10 shots and one goal this season, scoring earlier this season in a 1-1 tie against Vanderbilt on Aug. 26. Howell is also a fiesty defender, helping OU hold its opponents to one goal or less in nine of 12 games this year.
Last Time Out
Oklahoma tied No. 25 Baylor before losing to Texas last week in its first Big 12 game of the season. Renae Cuellar scored her seventh goal of the season in the second half against the Bears, tying the game before the two teams fought through two overtimes without a score. Two days later against the Longhorns, OU was defeated 1-0 with Sooner keeper Kelsey Devonshire totaling five saves.
Next Week
Oklahoma will take a break from Big 12 play to travel to Virginia Tech in the Sooners' only game of the week. OU will face the Hokies Sunday, Oct. 7, at 12 p.m. CT.

Senior goalkeeper Kelsey Devonshire set an OU career record against Baylor on Sept. 21, becoming the Sooners' all time saves leader. Devonshire's third save against the Bears put her past Catharine Wade's record of 345. Devonshire currently sits at 354 career saves.
