Sooners to Sign Autographs on Thursday

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team will sign autographs and meet fans on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions held in the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The Sooners will be on the concourse level of the arena for one hour before the start of the event from 6-7 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to bring items for the gymnasts to sign in addition to being able to purchase 2013 season tickets.

OU returns All-Americans Kayla Nowak, Brie Olson, Madison Mooring and Erica Brewer and welcomes four freshmen to a team that has won three of the last four Big 12 Championships and won an NCAA Regional title last season. The Sooners will host four meets in 2013, including contests against UCLA, Stanford, North Carolina, Arizona and Denver.

Former OU gymnasts Chris Brooks (2006-09), Jake Dalton (2010-12), Jonathan Horton (2005-08), Steven Legendre (2008-11) and Alex Naddour (2010-11) are scheduled to participate in the event, along with members of the men's and women's 2011 World Championship and 2012 Olympic teams.
