Clark, Ferguson and Spears claim all three Big 12 weekly conference honors.

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma women’s gymnasts swept all three Big 12 weekly awards for Feb. 14, announced by the conference Tuesday. Taylor Spears was named Gymnast of the Week, Megan Ferguson was named Event Specialist of the Week and Rebecca Clark was named Newcomer of the Week.
The sweep is the first time since 2008 that OU won all three weekly awards, while OU won a record six straight Event Specialist of the Week awards with Ferguson's honor this week.
Spears earned her second Gymnast of the Week honor this season, Ferguson won the specialist award for the second consecutive week while Clark won OU’s first newcomer award of the season.
Ferguson collected OU’s conference-record sixth consecutive Event Specialist of the Week honor after winning both the beam and floor titles last Friday. The senior tied her career-high on floor with a 9.95 while posting a 9.9 on beam.
Ferguson is currently ranked No. 3 nationally on beam, No. 5 on floor and No. 14 on bars. Ferguson has scored a 9.8 or higher in 20 of her 21 routines this year and a 9.9 or higher 10 times.
Spears won her third all-around title on Friday, Feb. 10 at the Perfect 10 Challenge with a career-high 39.400 in the competition.
Spears finished second on vault with a score of 9.875, tied for third place on floor with a career-high-tying 9.875 on the event. The sophomore tabbed her third-straight score of 9.85 on beam to finish in fourth place.
Spears has scored a 9.8 or higher 17 times this year, including eight of her last 10 routines.
Clark earned the newcomer award after finishing in the top 5 on vault, bars and beam. The freshman finished in third place on vault with a 9.825, fourth on beam with a 9.85 and fifth on bars with a 9.8.
Clark has scored a 9.8 or higher in 10 consecutive routines. With the award, Clark breaks Rachel Updike's (Missouri) streak of five consecutive newcomer awards.
The Sooners will see their second straight Big 12 matchup this weekend as OU heads to Columbia, Mo., to face No. 16 Missouri on Friday, Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m., at the Hearnes Center.
