MANNING MAKES MOST OF START
Freshman Maddie Manning earned a spot in the starting lineup beginning with the first game of the Rainbow Wahine Showdown on Nov. 23. She has set a career high in scoring each game since.
Manning had 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in her starting debut versus Arkansas. She totaled 11 points and four assists the next day against Oregon and concluded the tournament with a 12-point, four-rebound performance against Hawaii.
Manning is the OU overall and Big 12 freshman leader in field goal percentage, having hit 62.5 percent (15 of 24) of her field goals.
HARTMAN DOES THE DISHES
As a consequence of Maddie Manning's asencion into the starting lineup, reserve point guard Jasmine Hartman saw more time on the court during OU's three victories in Hawaii. Hartman's nine assists trailed only starting point guard Morgan Hook's 10 for the team lead during the tournament. However, Hartman was OU's single-game assists leader for wins over Oregon (5) and Hawaii (3). It was the first time for the senior to lead the Sooners in assists since collecting five against Sam Houston State on Dec. 1, 2010.
