Sooners strike a pose, meet fans.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Thursday provided an opportunity for the OU women's basketball team to rest from workouts and get a taste of some glitz and glamour as it took part in a photo shoot and greeted fans.
Following classes, the players and staff relocated to the Clinton Lounge at the Lloyd Noble Center for the team's photo day where pictures that will be used for the team's media and promotional materials were taken under the direction of OU's award-winning graphic design artist Scott Matthews. The very personable group was given the opportunity to strike their best pose in front of the cameras.
Later that evening, the team met some of its most ardent supporters at the annual Fast Break Club Ice Cream Social. Sherri Coale introduced the team, including its newest members, to a sizeable audience at Reaves Park and the players, far away from the training table, were able to get bites of ice cream and cookies along with their fans.
Every player introduced themselves in front of a chorus of applause; however, it was Serbian transplant Jelena Cerina's spontaneous use of the contraction "y'all" that received the most thunderous reaction.
