FROZEN IN FEBRUARY
Though Oklahoma has made it through January without racking up consecutive losses since the 2004-05 season, the Sooners have not been as stellar in February. Oklahoma's has a 11-12 win-loss record for in February dating back to the 2011 season.
Wins against Kansas State (Feb. 6) and Oklahoma State (Feb. 10) gave Oklahoma consecutive victories in February for the first time since 2009-10 season when the Sooners won against Oklahoma State, 77-66, on Feb. 6 and in overtime against Baylor, 62-60, on Feb. 10 of that year.
OU's losses to Iowa State (Feb. 14) and Kansas (Feb. 17) were the team's first back-to-back defeats of the season.
