Oklahoma 59, Army 46

Oklahoma won its first ever meeting against the U.S. Military Academy.  The Sooners defeated Army, 59-46, at Christl Arena Thursday, Dec. 10.

Abi Olajuwon scored her first double-double of the season with a 16-point, 13-rebound performance.

Nyeshia Stevenson led the Sooners for the second straight game with 17 points.  Stevenson was 6-of-15 from the field and made four of six free throw attempts.

After shooting a season low 23 percent in the first half, the Sooners made 13 of 25 second-half field goals for a 52 percent success rate.

Army’s 46 points was a season low total for an Oklahoma opponent.  The Black Knights managed just 17 points in the second half.

OU outscored Army in the paint 32-12.
