Recap |  Final Stats

•  In the CP3 vs. CP3 battle (Courtney Paris and Candace Parker), its was each team's respective CP3 that scored the first points of their team.  Paris scored OU's first seven points and Parker scored UT's first eight.  OU freshman Danielle Robinson broke the Sooners' scoring streak with a fast break layup to put the Sooners up 9-4. Vicki Baugh ended the Lady Vols' streak with a layup in the middle of the first half.

• Cnadace Parker scored two for OU when she and a teammate fought for the rebound on a Courtney Paris free throw and inadvertently knocked the ball back through the hoop.

• The Sooners youth was tested early as Ashley and Courtney Paris entered early foul trouble.

• Tennessee had the halftime lead at 32-29.  The score was tied four times and the lead changed six times.

• Candace Parker had a halftime-leading 18 points and eight rebounds.  OU's Courtney Paris had nine points and seven rebounds.

• OU had outrebounded the Tennessee 25-17.  On the offensive glass, the Sooners led 11-3.

Ashley Paris
• Ashley Paris scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds before fouling out for just the fourth time in her career with 3:53 remaining in the game.

Courtney Paris
• Paris extended her NCAA record double-double streak to 63.  She has 68 career double-doubles in 71 career games.

Danielle Robinson
• Robinson earned her first start in her second collegiate game.  She scored 14 points and added four steals and four assits.

Nyeshia Stevenson
• Stevenson's first points of the game came by the 3-pointer.  It was just her third career 3-point make in 13 attempts.

Jenny Vining
• After Tennessee used a 6-0 run to close the first-half gap to 15-14, Vining entered and hit her first 3-point attempt to sparlk the Sooners and put them up 18-14.
