Oklahoma (No. 13 AP/No. 8 Coaches) allowed Georgia (No. 21 AP) two offensive rebounds in the first half. OU had the defensive rebounding advantage (18-17) and total rebounding advantage (27-19) in the first period.  In the first half, OU had six second-chance points to Georgia’s zero.

Each team made only one 3-pointer in the first half.  The Sooners shot 1-of-11 from beyond the arc while the Dawgs were 1-of-5.

Georgia opened the second half with a 13-2 run to make the score 35-20.  Oklahoma tied the score at 43 with 6:51 remaining, but never led in the contest.

Whitney Hand
Hand’s 10 3-point attempts were a career high.

Amanda Thompson
Thompson corralled a game-high 13 rebounds.
