Texas A&M 75, Oklahoma 58

Oklahoma led 31-28 at halftime, its 13th straight winning period, before falling 75-58.  It was the first loss in six games for the Sooners.

Oklahoma shot a season-low three 3-pointers from a season-low 10 attempts.

Oklahoma had 13 second-half turnovers to Texas A&M’s five and was outrebounded 22-9 in the final period.

Oklahoma has lost six straight to Texas A&M. The Sooners have also not won in College Station since Jan. 28, 2006, a streak of six games.

The Sooners host undefeated No. 13 Texas Tech (14-0) Wednedsay, Jan. 11, at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.

Both Aaryn Ellenberg and Whitney Hand crossed 800 career points in Sunday’s game.  Ellenberg entered with 786 and scored 18 while Hand previously had 792 and scored 17.

With two treys, Ellenberg matched Stacey Dales for seventh on Oklahoma’s career records for 3-pointers made at 136.
