Tennessee 96, Oklahoma 75

No. 4 Tennessee defeated No. 14 Oklahoma, 96-75, to stay undefeated at Thompson-Boling Arena this season.  Oklahoma drops to 10-3 as it begins conference play Saturday, Jan. 9, hosting Texas Tech at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.

Amanda Thompson tallied her second double-double of the season with a 26-point, 11-rebound performance.  Her 26 points were a career best.

Danielle Robinson had 10 assists for her seventh career double-digit assist game, extending her own OU record.

Oklahoma’s 44.6 field goal percentage was the highest for a Tennessee opponent this season.

The Tennessee bench outscored OU’s bench players 32-0 and held a 44-22 advantage in points in the paint.

Oklahoma’s 31 rebounds were its fewest since having the same number against San Francisco on Nov. 26, 2005.

The plus-17 advantage in rebounds Tennessee acquired was Oklahoma’s worst rebounding margin in over six seasons.
