  Oklahoma Team Notes

Oklahoma's 96-35 over Northwestern State was the first meeting between the two teams.

The 61-point margin of victory was OU's eighth largest home win.

Oklahoma's 57 percent (35-of-61) field goal shooting and 65 percent (13-of-20) 3-point shooting were season highs.

It was OU's best field goal shooting performance since hitting 43 of 72 (.597) in a 117-55 win over Sacramento State on Nov. 13, 2011.

OU's 3-point field goal shooting (.650) was its highest since making 9-of-13 (.692) from beyond the arc in a 93-75 win at Oklahoma State on Feb. 8, 2009.

Oklahoma's 40 points off turnovers were the team's most since collecting 48 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a 118-52 victory in Norman on Dec. 29, 2010.
 
  Oklahoma Individual Notes

Freshman G Nicole Kornet
Kornet made her first career start versus Northwestern State on Thursday. Kornet replaced Maddie Manning in the Sooners' lineup. Manning, who started the three previous games, suffered a season-ending ACL tear in her right knee in practice Wednesday.

Kornet scored a career-high 19 points, hitting 7-of-10 field goals, including 4-of-6 3-pointers.
 
Junior G Aaryn Ellenberg
Ellenberg scored 22 points to jump from 21st to 18th on Oklahoma's career scoring list. Ellenberg passed Lisa Allison (1,191; 1984-87), Amanda Thompson (1,202; 2007-10) and LaTrenda Phillips (1,205; 1984-87) and finished the game with 1,212 career points scored.
 
Senior G Whitney Hand
Hand scored nine points to move to from 22nd to 21st on OU's career scoring list. Hand has 1,196 career points.
