Oklahoma 73, Arkansas 70

Freshman guard Maddie Manning was part of the starting lineup for her first time as a collegian. She joined Morgan Hook, Aaryn Ellenberg, Whitney Hand and Nicole Griffin.

Manning totaled 10 points and eight rebounds, both season highs.

With a 26-19 halftime lead, Oklahoma held its opponent under 20 first-half points for the second straight game. The Sooners held Saint Louis University to 10 first-half points on Nov. 18.

The loss was Arkansas' first of the season.

Junior center Nicole Griffin scored a career-high 19 points. Griffin's previous high was 18 against Notre Dame in an NCAA regional semifinal game in Dayton, Ohio, on March 26, 2011.

The Sooners next play Oregon Saturday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. Central at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
