MAITLAND, New South Wales, Australia -- Aaryn Ellenberg shot 57 percent from the field for 30 points and Whitney Hand added 21 as the Sooners shot down the Maitland All-Stars Wednesday.
Ellenberg hit 13 of 23 field goals, including four 3-pointers, as she fired at will in the third of four games scheduled on Oklahoma's tour of Australia.
Hand made seven of her 12 attempts and was 4-for-4 at the free throw line.
The Sooners used a strong second quarter to create a 15-point lead at halftime and rattled 12 unanswered points in the second half to seal victory.
Ellie Junod scored 30 for Maitland. Junod was 10-of-17 from the field and took 14 attempts at the free throw line, hitting 10.
Maitland's Brie Kentwell and Chole Dalton each totaled 10 points and Charlotte Bull nearly amassed a triple-double with eight points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
The Sooners boasted an efficient halfcourt offense. Point guard Morgan Hook counted seven assists to zero turnovers in addition to her seven points.
Oklahoma's substitutes equaled its starters efforts and outscored the All-Stars 32-9 in points off the bench.
OU freshman Nicole Kornet contributed eight psoints and four rebounds before fouling out. Maddie Manning added six points and five assists. Sharane Campbell, Nicole Griffin and Kaylon Williams each had six points.
OU plays its final game in Australia Friday, Aug. 17, against the Sydney Flames.
