Baylor 92, Oklahoma 70 | Feb. 2, 2011 | Waco, Texas
Feb. 2, 2011
Oklahoma dropped to 0-10 all-time versus teams ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll.
The 92-70 loss was the worst for the Sooners since falling by 23 points to then-No. 15 Texas A&M, 78-55, in College Station last season on March 2.
Danielle Robinson scored 25 points, her 106th career game in double figures -- third best all-time at OU -- and 24th career game with 20 or more points.
With nine field goals, Robinson passed Stacey Dales (1998-2002) for fourth on OU's career list for field goals made. Robinson now has 721 career field goals and trails Phylesha Whaley (1997-2000) for third by 56 makes.
Robinson is 94 points, 39 assists and 17 steals from becoming the third top-level women's college basketball player to reach career totals of 2,000 points, 700 assists and 300 steals. Only Virginia's Dawn Staley (1989-92) and Old Dominion's Nancy Lieberman (1977-80) passed all three benchmarks.
Aaryn Ellenberg led OU with 27 points. It was the freshman's sixth game of the season, and fourth in the last five games, with scoring 20 or more.
Ellenberg matched her career high with seven rebounds.
