Competed in the 133 lb. weight class at the 2011 Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic in Brockport, N.Y., where he dropped decisions to Rutgers' Danny White 4-0 and Brockport's James McCabe 5-4...Took to the mat again at the 2011 Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill. In the 133 lb. weight class, where he fell to Northern Illinois' Rob Jillard, who had 4:34 riding time, and lost to Princeton's Chris Perez 8-0 in a major decision.

Was a four time state qualifier where he was a two-time finalist finisher and one-time state champion ... Finished his high school career with a record of 174-24 ... Projected college weight class is 133 pounds.
