NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team advanced one singles player and two doubles tandems to the finals of the Longhorn Invitational after day two of the invitational Saturday, Nov. 3. 

Dane Webb faces Princeton's Matija Pecotic in the Singles A Finals Sunday, Nov. 4. Sooners tandems Costin Paval and Webb and Peerakit Siributwong and Leonard Stakhovsky face each other in the doubles finals. 

In the Singles A Semifinals, Webb beat Paval 1-0 after Paval retired from the match with an injury. 

Earlier in the day, Paval defeated Texas's David Holiner 6-0, 6-1, in the Singles A Quarterfinals. Also in that round, Webb beat Texas's Soren Hess Oleseon after he withdrew due to illness and Alcorta beat Alvarez Llamas 6-2, 6-4. 

In the Singles B Quarterfinals, John Harrison Warden defeated Ball State's Austin Smith 6-4, 7-5. 

In the Doubles Semifinals, Paval and Webb defeated Texas's Alex Hilliard and Andrew Korinek 10-8, 6-3. Siributwong and Stakhovsky beat Texas's Lloyd Glasspool and Joey Swaysland 8-1. 

In the Doubles Quarterfinals, Paval and Webb defeated Princeton's Zach McCourt and Pecotic 10-8, 6-2. Siributwong and Stakhovsky beat Ball State's Pat Elliott and Cliff Morrison 8-2.
