Sooners Travel to Arizona for Road Trip

No. 7 OU faces No. 54 Arizona on a spring break road trip.

NORMAN, Okla. -- The No. 7 University of Oklahoma men’s tennis team begins its spring break road trip at No. 54 Arizona Wednesday, March 20, at 2 p.m. in Tucson, Ariz.

The Sooners (10-4) enter the match against the Wildcats (9-4) after falling to No. 48 Florida State, 4-3, at home in a match that featured three tiebreakers and three matches that went to an extra point, and had three matches go to the third set.

"I know that our players are looking forward to playing after a tough loss to FSU," OU head coach John Roddick said. "It is going to be a hard fought match and we want to come out strong in the doubles."

Arizona enters the match after losing to No. 36 TCU, 4-1, Thursday, March 14. Giacomo Miccini scored Arizona's only point of the day at the No. 1 position.

The Sooners finish their road trip with a visit to Malibu, Calif., to face No. 12 Pepperdine Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m.
