NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma defensive end Jeremy Beal has been named one of seven finalists for this year's Hendricks Award. The honor is presented annually to the nation's top defensive end.

His highlight game this season came against Texas, when he recorded 12 tackles. Also during the campaign, he became the first player in OU history to record three sacks in back-to-back games (Tulsa, Miami).
