OU is now the top-ranked one loss team in the BCS, No. 7 in each of the other polls.
NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma moved up to No. 6 in the latest BCS standings released Sunday evening. The Sooners moved ahead of Oregon as the top-ranked one-loss team overall.
No. 7 in each of the other major polls, OU returns to Owen Field this week to take on Texas A&M (5-3, 3-2 Big 12), who dropped from the rankings for the first time this season. Saturday's game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. (CT) and will be televised on ABC.

The BCS rankings are determined by three components: the Harris Interactive poll, the USA Today coaches poll and the average of six computer rankings. Each component counts one-third toward a team's BCS score.
The six computer rankings are
Anderson & Hester,
Richard Billingsley,
Colley Matrix,
Kenneth Massey,
Jeff Sagarin and
Peter Wolfe. Each accounts for schedule strength in its formula. The highest and lowest ranking for each team is dropped, and the remaining four are added and divided by 100 (the maximum possible points) to produce a computer rankings percentage.
