The Sooners were No. 7 in the Coaches Poll and No. 9 in the Harris Poll, while they averaged 10th in the computer rankings. Each counts one-third in the BCS formula, while the AP Poll is not used.

Upcoming opponents ranked in the BCS include No. 5 Notre Dame, No. 13 West Virginia, No. 23 TCU and No. 24 Iowa State. OU lost to current No. 4 Kansas State but defeated No. 17 Texas Tech and No. 25 Texas.

Oklahoma moved back into the Top 10 in the latest AP Poll (at No. 10) and up to No. 7 in the latest Coaches Poll released Sunday afternoon. The Longhorns fell out of both polls after the blowout loss to the Sooners.

OU hosts the Kansas Jayhawks next Saturday at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the game televised by FOX Sports.

The BCS rankings are determined by three components: the Harris Interactive poll, the USA Today coaches poll and the average of six computer rankings. Each component counts one-third toward a team's BCS score.

The six computer rankings are Anderson & Hester, Richard Billingsley, Colley Matrix, Kenneth Massey, Jeff Sagarin and Peter Wolfe. Each accounts for schedule strength in its formula. The highest and lowest ranking for each team is dropped, and the remaining four are added and divided by 100 (the maximum possible points) to produce a computer rankings percentage.
