NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma dropped to No. 16 in the latest AP Poll and No. 15 in the Coaches Poll after losing its Big 12 opener in Norman to Kansas State, 24-19, Saturday night.
 
Six of the remaining nine opponents on OU's schedule are ranked including No. 9 (AP)/7 (Coaches) West Virginia, No. 10/11 Notre Dame, No. 12/10 Texas, No. 15/14 TCU, No. 22 Oklahoma State and No. 25/24 Baylor.
 
This marks the 725th week that OU has been ranked in the Top 25 of the AP Poll since the service began in 1936. Oklahoma is the most illustrious program in the poll's history with the most weeks at No. 1 (101), in the Top 2 (199), in the Top 5 (383) and in the Top 10 (535).
 
Oklahoma (2-1) has a bye this weekend before hitting the road to play the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock on Saturday, October 6. The game time has not yet been announced.
