A list of participating program providers will be announced at a later date.
NORMAN, Okla. --
FOX Sports Oklahoma announced today that it will distribute the Sept. 8 football game between the University of Oklahoma and Florida A&M at 6 p.m. CT on pay-per-view to participating program providers. Suggested retail price is $39.95. The pay-per-view telecast will be available in high-definition.
The game is pay-per-view because it wasn't selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television. Pay-per-view allows fans the option to watch a game they otherwise wouldn't be able to see on TV.
Bill Land (play-by-play), Dave Lapham (analyst), and Chad McKee (sideline reporter) call the action from Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla.
Listed below are program providers that will offer the telecast on a designated pay-per-view channel (more could be added prior to kickoff). Cable TV subscribers must have digital cable to order the telecast. Customers can order the game from their set-top boxes or by calling their program provider:
Nationwide: DirecTV and AT&T U-Verse (Channel 635, Channel 1635 in HD).
