Redshirt-freshman linebacker had torn cartilage in left knee.
NORMAN, Okla. --
Oklahoma linebacker Austin Box underwent arthroscopic
knee surgery Tuesday to repair torn cartilage in his
left knee.
OU head coach Bob Stoops said that the anticipated
recovery time is three weeks. Stoops called Box "doubtful" for
the season opener against Tennessee-Chattanooga, but "probable" for
game two against Cincinnati.
The Sooners continue preseason practice on Wednesday
with two sessions scheduled for 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please
