Junior WR Malcolm Kelly Going Pro
NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma wide receiver Malcolm Kelly has decided
to bypass his senior year of college eligibility to
enter the National Football League Draft. OU
head coach Bob Stoops confirmed Kelly's decision Thursday
afternoon.
"We're excited for Malcolm and his family," Stoops
said. "He was an oustanding player in our
program and we appreciate all of his efforts. We
look forward to watching him in the NFL. He is
well-suited to professional football in many ways and
we are sure that the attributes that made him such
a success for us will serve him equally well on that
level." As a sophomore, Kelly had 62 catches for 992 yards and 10 touchdowns. His 21 career touchdown receptions ranks No. 2 at Oklahoma to the 30 hauled in by current Baltimore Raven Mark Clayton. 2007 Season |
