All-Big 12 Third Team WR (Big 12 Coaches), All-Big 12 Honorable Mention (Associated Press); All-Big 12 Academic Second Team ... played extensively on both sides of the ball for the second straight season ... started first four games at wide receiver and the first nine at left side cornerback ... missed the final three regular season games due to injury, but returned for the SBC Cotton Bowl and started at cornerback ... blocked a field goal and registered his lone interception (39-yard return) against Texas ... also had a season-high seven tackles and two pass deflections against the Longhorns ... two receptions each against Air Force and Baylor, with 62 yards against the Falcons and 48 against the Bears ... long reception was a 54-yarder at Air Force.

2000:

Was the starting split end when the season opened … knocked out of the starting lineup with an injured ankle … missed three games before finding his place in the rotation of receivers … played in nine games overall, including Oklahoma's Independence Bowl game with Mississippi … ended the season with 11 catches for 129 yards and one touchdown … best game of the year came against Indiana State when he posted five receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown … saw some time on special teams.
