The former walk-on took over as starting center for the regular season finale against Oklahoma State after Ben Habern went down with an injury at Texas Tech ... had seen action in six other games at either guard or center prior to the starting appointment ... missed Sun Bowl with knee injury ... logged 203 snaps and 22 knockdowns on the season ... had season highs with 88 plays and eight knockdowns against Oklahoma State ... had an 86% passing grade in that game.
