Was slated to be the starter at North Carolina, but transferred to OU in August and became a member of the practice squad.
2000:
Started the majority of the season as a true freshman at North Carolina ... responsible for 40 of the team's 60 punts ... his boots went for 1,475 yards, an average of 36.9 yards per kick ... five of his kicks covered at least 50 yards ... had a 61-yarder in his first college contest vs. Tulsa ... also had a 51-yarder in that game ... eleven of his last 18 punts were downed inside the 20.
High school:
