All-Big 12 second team by Kansas City Star and honorable mention by AP and coaches ... started at center in season opener vs. BYU ... starter at tight end the next four games ... moved to starter at left guard the next four games before suffering season-ending neck injury at Nebraska ... the only BCS player this season to start at three different positions and the first OU player to do so during one season (modern era) ... had the top line grade in all five of his line starts ... had 66 knockdowns on just 301 snaps ... led the team with 20 knockdowns against BYU, 18 vs. Kansas and 15 vs. Kansas State.

2008

Started the first four games of the season at either the tight end position or as a blocking back before suffering an ankle injury that caused him to miss three games ... registered his first career touchdown with a one-yard reception against Oklahoma State ... season-long 11-yard catch against Missouri in the Big 12 Championship.
