Thorpe Award candidate and one of the team's most active community servants ... picked off fifth career pass against Utah State ... leading tackler against Florida State with seven stops ... intercepted a pass on the final play of the first half vs. Texas ... had a career-high 17 tackles vs. Texas Tech, topping the 14 stops he had against Missouri.

2009
All-Big 12 second team by coaches and honorable mention by AP ... took over starting position at free safety spot and responded as team's second-leading tackler with 80 stops ... tied career high of 10 tackles twice vs. BYU and Texas Tech ... eight tackles and an interception in the Sun Bowl win over Stanford ... had at least seven tackles in eight games ... picked off passes against Tulsa, Kansas, Kansas State and Stanford ... also recovered a fumble against BYU ... broke up two passes against Kansas.
