Oklahoma won its latest Big 12 Conference Championship by finishing 8-1 in league play during the 2012 season. It marked the eighth conference title for the Sooners in the last 13 years and the 44th conference title overall for OU since the program's first in 1915.

Oklahoma notched its eighth Big 12 title in the past 13 years by finishing 8-1 in league play during the 2012 season. The Sooners shared the championship with Kansas State (also 8-1).
The Sooners sealed a share of the title on December 1, 2012, with a 24-17 win at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth against TCU.
