View a list of Sooner All-Americans by jersey number. Although some players wore multiple numbers during their career at OU, the numbers listed below represent the number worn during the season the player earned All-America honors.
 
Among the 153 Sooner All-Americans, the most popular jersey numbers are "50", "54", "66" and "79" with four players each. Conversely, 37 jersey numbers have never been worn by a Sooner All-American. The greatest concentrations occur in the 50s and 60s with 14 players each wearing numbers in those spans. Least concentrated are the single digits.
 
Numbers include Derrick Strait's No. 2 to Lucious Selmon's No. 98. The longest sequence of jersey numbers is eight from Roy Williams' No. 38 through Joe Bowden's/Jim Grisham's No. 45. One last observation: players seem to prefer repeat digits with each number from 11 to 88 represented by at least one All-American. The lone open slot is jersey No. 99.
