Since the introduction of the Bowl Championship Series
(BCS) in 1998, Oklahoma has been ranked more weeks
at No. 1, in the Top 5 and in the Top 10 than any other
program in college football. OU earned its
first BCS national title in 2000 with an undefeated
season and a victory against Florida State in the BCS national title game.

The grid below shows every week of the BCS standings
and OU's ranking. The numbers along the top of the
poll represent the week (BCS standings cover the final
eight weeks of the season). A dash (-) represents that
OU was not ranked in that week's edition while a blank
means that there were no BCS standings.
