OU Football Tradition | Academic Honors

Academic All-America football teams have been selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) since 1952. To be eligible, student-athletes must be regular performers and have at least a 3.20 grade-point average (on a 4.00 scale) during their college careers.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.000 grade-point average (on a 4.000 scale) during his collegiate careers,perform with distinction in varsity football and behave, on and off the field, in a manner that has brought credit to the student-athlete, his institution and intercollegiate athletics.
