Zac Henderson, FS - 1976, 1977
Zac Henderson was named the nation's outstanding defensive back in 1977 at the Heisman Trophy ceremonies in New York. He was a consensus All-American in 1977 and also received All-America honors in '76.
He was a four-year starter, finishing his career at OU in 1977 by tying the single-season interception record with seven. In that season, he had two interceptions in both the Colorado and Nebraska games.
He was one of the top coverage men in the conference throughout his career, as he earned All-Big Eight honors from 1975-77.
