Kevin Murphy, DE - 1985
Kevin Murphy earned All-America honors during the 1985 season. He was named All-Big Eight three times during his career. UPI named Murphy Big Eight Defensive Player of the Year in 1983. During that year, he recorded 144 tackles, placing him eighth on the season-best list.
Extremely quick and versatile, Murphy ranks third on the career tackles for loss chart with 36 and second for tackles by a down lineman with 342.
He was drafted in the second round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1986.
