8:49 p.m. - The Oklahoma Sooners were the big story coming out of 2011 Big 12 Football Media Days and a quick scan of the front pages of college football's top sites prove it:

3:23 p.m. - Coach Stoops and the Sooner players are likely running on fumes at this point after fielding questions from the media for the past five hours. As Kenny Mossman pointed out, there's simply no way to prepare for this day. It's just a grind.
3:10 p.m. - The Big 12 released a PDF of Coach Stoops' interview with the media in Dallas. Stoops discusses the progression of Landry Jones, dealing with tragedy, replacing DeMarco Murray, unseating the SEC, players returning instead of leaving early for the NFL Draft and the 2000 team during the session.
2:37 p.m. - As promised, we asked OU's players a few of the questions written by Sooner fans on our official Facebook page. In fact, they even answered your questions first, as we caught them during a little down time before they ran through the media gauntlet:

12:13 a.m. - Kansas State Bill Snyder just finished his session on the podium and Coach Stoops is up next. Tune in to the live stream on Big12Sports.com as Stoops answers questions for local, regional and national print outlets.
11:18 a.m. - OU has finished its session with the national TV networks and is now rotating through four separate stations with the local channels. Continue to check Facebook for photos and updates. We'll continue collecting content and will have full video coverage later in the day.
9:46 a.m. - We're sitting here in the hotel work room sharing a table with digital media reps from Iowa State (Tyler Rutherford) and Kansas State (Dave Smoller) who are updating fans on the latest for their teams from Dallas.

9:12 a.m. - Below is a pic of the three players representing the Sooners today: Ryan Broyles, Travis Lewis and Landry Jones preparing to board a plane in Norman for the short flight to Dallas. The guys are already here and we'll have shots of them shortly.

9:03 a.m. - Word is that senior linebacker Travis Lewis is sporting his 2010 Big 12 Championship ring here for media days. We'll get a pic shortly but here's a shot of the ring we posted on Facebook earlier this morning. For Coach Stoops, he's about to run out of fingers with seven conference rings in the last 11 years.

OU Athletics Digital Media reps Jason Matheson and Tory Kukowski are here in the hotel work room at Big 12 Football Media Days bringing you these live updates throughout the day. OU Head Coach Bob Stoops and Senior Associate A.D. for Communications Kenny Mossman arrived yesterday but we just received word from Assistant Director of Communications David Bassity that Sooner players Ryan Broyles, Landry Jones and Travis Lewis are preparing to land in Big D after a short flight from Norman.

The Big 12 has its first five teams in front of the press on Monday at Big 12 Football Media Days in Dallas. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. CT with Texas A&M first up. Oklahoma is the event's finale with the final segment on Tuesday. Coach Stoops, Ryan Broyles, Landry Jones and Travis Lewis will represent the Sooners.
