7:52 p.m. - Coach Stoops, Jeremy Beal, DeMarco Murray, Ryan Broyles, Travis Lewis and OU staff returned to Norman Wednesday evening after meeting with conference and national media in Irving during the annual Big 12 Media Days. We'll post headlines and further coverage in Thursday morning's edition of Boomer Bytes.

Quotes from Coach Stoops' Big 12 Media Day Presser
1:54 p.m. - The video below shows junior linebacker Travis Lewis in an interview with CBS. You can see how each of the national TV networks set up in individual rooms complete with lights, backdrops and cameras to capture clips from the coaches and players in attendance for later use during their broadcasts. Lewis seemed extremely comfortable in front of the bright lights and several media members remarked on his personality:
1:17 p.m. - The video below shows senior running back DeMarco Murray putting on the headset and discussing the upcoming season on Sirius Radio. You may not be able to hear the questions but Murray's answers are interesting. The players and Coach Stoops all rotated through rooms dedicated to each of the national TV and radio outlets. Much of the material will be used throughout the 2010 season as the different networks feature the Sooners.
1:07 p.m. - OU wrapped up its portion of Big 12 Media Days a few moments ago and the Sooners are headed back to Norman. We have plenty of video and photos to release here in the next couple of hours so stick with us as we process, edit and upload for fans.
12:47 p.m. - Senior defensive end Jeremy Beal is featured in the video below as the Carrollton, Texas, native sits for an interview with ESPN. You'll see more of the interview when ESPN features Beal and the Sooners on their College GameDay program.
11:26 a.m. - It's a whirlwind right now as Coach Stoops and the players meet with each segment of the Big 12 media. We can barely keep up and we're not facing the cameras! We're collecting plenty of video and will post as soon as we have the chance. The Sooners only have a little time here in Irving left so we'll continue to get material from them and then post this afternoon.
11:12 a.m. - Below is video of junior receiver Ryan Broyles in a video interview with ESPNU. The crew asked Broyles about who was stepping up among his fellow receivers, about his leadership role and about his anticipation for the upcoming season:
9:56 a.m. - Coach Stoops is on now live in the main press conference room. Watch the feed here. Beal, Lewis, Broyles and Murray are in the individual print interview room talking with the newspaper reporters. We're collecting more video and will post shortly.
9:12 a.m. - As mentioned previously, Coach Stoops and the players went right in front of the TV cameras in their first session at Big 12 Media Days this morning in Irving. We're processing some quick video clips now and will post shortly. A few observations: Travis Lewis is sporting a semi-mohawk (although not as extreme as the crimson version worn by fellow linebacker Tom Wort during the spring game). DeMarco Murray speaks the softest of the four players but always provides detailed responses to each question.
8:29 a.m. - The Sooners have arrived in Irving after a short flight from Norman. Today will mark the first appearance at Big 12 Media Days for senior defensive end Jeremy Beal (Carrollton, Texas), junior receiver Ryan Broyles (Norman, Okla.), senior running back DeMarco Murray (Las Vegas, Nev.) and junior linebacker Travis Lewis (San Antonio, Texas).
8:26 a.m. - Coach Stoops and the Sooners will go in front of the TV cameras at 9 a.m. in their first session of Big 12 Media Days this morning. A session with the print media follows from 9:45-10:30 a.m. That press conference will be webcast live by the Big 12 here. The Sooners will meet with national TV representatives beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a stint with radio crews at 11:15 a.m. and another session with national TV at 11:55 a.m.
7:59 a.m. - OU's football media guide is out on the table here in the media workroom along with the Big 12 guide and a few leftover guides from Kansas State. First impressions: Director of Graphic Design Scott Matthews has churned out another impressive cover for the award-winning guide. As usual, OU always stands out among the other school's guides. Here is a shot of the cover:

7:49 a.m. - We're at the hotel and set up in the workroom ready for 2010 Big 12 Football Media Days. Assistant Communications Director David Bassity posted a photo of the Sooners boarding the plane in Norman earlier this morning on OU's official Twitter feed. Check the feed regularly during the day as both Bassity and Senior Associate A.D. Kenny Mossman will post notes as they take Coach Stoops and the players through the media activities in Irving.

10:56 p.m. - The SoonerSports.com crew arrived in Texas today in advance of OU's appearance tomorrow morning at Big 12 Football Media Days. Coach Stoops, Jeremy Beal, Travis Lewis, DeMarco Murray and Ryan Broyles will begin their sessions with the media at 9 a.m. Follow our live blog tomorrow as we post observations, video interviews and photos of the Sooners.
As for today, here is a rundown of our activities:
Heading down I-35 from Norman, our first stop was at the Hick'ry House restaurant in Marietta, Okla., for a highly-recommended barbecue lunch. Our take? Go for the lunch special.
Once in Dallas (and with a couple hours to burn before checking into our hotel) we toured the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine. Impressive to say the least. Where else can you walk past a re-creation of the Alamo and the San Antonio River Walk inside a climate-controlled dome?
After checking into our hotel, we headed over to Irving to scout out the setup for tomorrow's Big 12 activities. Aside from a few room changes, doesn't appear too much different from last year's setup.
We then headed to Arlington to catch a little baseball as the Rangers hosted Oakland. A perfect night to watch the action from the cheap seats (Texas won, 3-1). Now, we prep for football season.
4:32 p.m. - After sessions by Missouri, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Texas Tech, BCS Executive Director Bill Hancock, Big 12 Conference Coordinator of Officials Walt Anderson and Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe met with the media. View quotes and archived video by clicking here.
