Oklahoma finishes the season with a 10-3 record.
The Sooners are now 27-18-1 in 46 bowl games. OU played in its school record 14th consecutive bowl game, the fifth-longest streak in the nation.
Bob Stoops holds a 7-7 record in bowl games. He is 149-37 (.801) as Oklahoma's head coach.
OU is 1-1 all-time in the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, also defeating Arkansas, 10-3 (1/1/2002).
Oklahoma leads the all-time series against Texas A&M 19-12, including an 11-3 mark under Bob Stoops. This was the first meeting between the two schools in a bowl game.
Friday night's game was the third for OU in Cowboys Stadium and it is now 1-2 following a 14-13 loss to BYU (9/5/2009) and a 23-20 victory over Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship Game (12/4/2010).
Oklahoma's second scoring drive lasted 18 plays and covered 87 yards in 7:26. It was the longest scoring drive of the season in terms of both plays and time. The team had a 17-play drive over 6:14 against Oklahoma State (11/24).
The 18-play scoring drive tied for the second-longest in Cotton Bowl history.
Oklahoma's game-opening scoring drive lasted 16 plays, the third-longest scoring drive of the season for OU.
All three of Oklahoma's losses this season came against Heisman Trophy finalists (Kansas State's Collin Klein, Notre Dame's Manti Te'o and Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel).

Landry Jones finished the game with 278 passing yards, finishing the season with 4,267 yards. It's his third straight season for 4,000+ passing yards.
Jones completed 23 passes on 30 attempts in the first half to set Cotton Bowl records. The previous high was 15 completions by Rick Clausen of Tennessee in 2005 and 28 attempts by Texas Tech's Graham Harrell in 2009.
Jones completed eight consecutive passes in the first half to tie a Cotton Bowl record shared by three other players.
Jones finished his career with 1,388 completions, 2,184 attemps, 16,646 passing yards and 123 touchdown passes.

Kenny Stills caught seven passes for 67 yards in the game. He became the fourth player in OU history to record 200 receptions in his career. He is now third all-time at OU with 204 career receptions.

In the second quarter, Javon Harris intercepted his sixth pass of the season and the ninth of his career.

Michael Hunnicutt made 2-of-2 field goals, putting his season totals at 17-of-21 and his career mark at 38-of-45.
Hunnicutt now has six multi-field goal games this season and nine in his career.
