TV Info for Texas Tech Announced - 11:05 a.m. The Big 12 Conference announced that ABC will provide regional coverage of the University of Oklahoma football game at Texas Tech on Oct. 6. Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. CT. ESPN2 is slated to televise the contest nationally via a reverse mirror.

Sooners in the NFL - 9:49 a.m. A total of 13 pro Sooners saw action in the National Football League on Sunday. Check out how they fared below:
LB Curtis Lofton racked up 13 tackles and two passes defended in New Orleans' 27-24 loss to Kansas City. PK Garrett Hartley connected on a 40-yard field goal and three extra points. OT Donald Stephenson saw action for the Chiefs. Lofton ranks fifth in the NFL with 32 tackles.
Rookie CB Jamell Fleming tallied four tackles for the second straight week in Arizona's 27-6 win over the Eagles.
RB DeMarco Murray rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, while adding three receptions for 17 yards as Dallas topped Tampa Bay, 16-10. DT Gerald McCoy had four tackles, including two sacks, for the Buccaneers.
FS Quinton Carter had a tackle in Denver's 31-25 loss to Houston. Carter has two tackles on the season.
QB Sam Bradford completed 18-of-35 passes for 152 yards, but was picked off twice and sacked six times against Chicago's stingy defense as the Bears won 23-6.

Jefferson the Player to Watch? - 12:02 p.m. Oklahoma DB Tony Jefferson played a key role in Oklahoma's 58-17 win over Kansas State last season. Jefferson had six tackles, a forced fumble and a sack. According to ESPN Insider's Travis Haney, he'll be the key in this season's contest as well.
Sooners in the NFL Update - 11:51 a.m. DE Frank Alexander (Carolina Panthers) recorded his first NFL career sack Thursday night against the New York Giants, as part of a three-tackle performance. Alexander has five tackles and three passes defended through three games of his rookie campaign.

Jones a Senior CLASS Award Candidate - 2:17 p.m. University of Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jonesis among 30 NCAA FBS student-athletes who were selected as candidates today for the 2012 Senior CLASS Award® in collegiate football. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I FBS senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - community, classroom, character and competition.
The Artesia, N.M., native owns a 31-8 (.795) record as a starter at OU, and is one win away from tying QB Steve Davis (32 wins from 1973-75) for the most victories in school history. Jones is already OU's all-time career leader in passing yards (12,853), passing yards per game (313.5), pass attempts (1,692), pass completions (1,061), 300-yard games (21), 400-yard games (9), TD passes (97), total offense (12,559) and total offense per game (306.3). The Sooners have their first open date this Saturday and will return to action at home against Kansas State on Sept. 22.
OU-Kansas State Kickoff Set on FOX - 10:22 a.m. The Big 12 Conference announced on Monday that the University of Oklahoma football home game against Kansas State on Sept. 22 will be broadcast by FOX Sports. The FOX pregame show is slated to begin at 6 p.m. CT with kickoff slated for 6:50 p.m. Gus Johnson will handle the play-by-play duties for the game with analysis from Charles Davis, while Julie Alexandria reports from the sidelines.
Erin Andrews, Eddie George and Joey Harrington will host FOX College Football Saturday from the studio at 6 p.m. CT before Oklahoma and Kansas State open Big 12 play.
The 93rd meeting between the Sooners and Wildcats will take place at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, with Oklahoma holding a 71-17-4 record all-time against Kansas State. The Sooners defeated the Wildcats 58-17 in Manhattan, Kan., last season. Oklahoma is currently tied for No. 5 in the latest AP poll. Kansas State is ranked No. 15 and faces North Texas on Sept. 15 before visiting Norman.
