Oklahoma Game Notes

• It was Oklahoma's fourth BCS Championship appearance.

• Oklahoma failed to score on its opening drive for only the third time this season (previously versus Kansas, Oklahoma State).

• The 19 interceptions OU has on the year have been made by nine different players. In all, the Sooners have recorded an interception in 10 of 14 games this season.

• The Sooners have forced at least one turnover in 116 of Bob Stoops' 133 games. OU has had multiple picks in 39 of the last 85 outings.

• Gerald McCoy's second quarter interception marked the first time a defensive lineman tallied a pick since Adrian Taylor did it against Baylor in 2007.

Sam Bradford
• Sam Bradford finished the season with 50 touchdowns and 328 completions (second on the single season list)

• With 256 passing yards on the night, Bradford now has 7,841 for his career - surpassing Josh Heupel's mark of 7,456 (1999-2000) for second on the all-time list.

Nic Harris
• With his first quarter interception, Nic Harris recorded his first interception this season and the seventh of his career.

Jermaine Gresham
• Jermaine Gresham now has 14 touchdowns this season to lead all tight ends in the Big 12.

• Gresham has 26 in his career, more than any other tight end in Oklahoma history. The total ranks second on the Oklahoma career touchdown receptions list (31, Mark Clayton, 2001-04).

• With his two scores on the evening, Gresham recorded his fifth multi-TD game this season. He becomes the fifth Oklahoma player to record two or more touchdowns in a single bowl game.

Gerald McCoy
• Gerald McCoy's second quarter interception was the first of his career.

Quentin Chaney
• Quentin Chaney is now the third receiver in OU history to have over 200 yards receiving in a bowl career (203). The others are Juaquin Iglesias and Corey Warren.

Chris Brown
• For the fifth time in the last seven games, Chris Brown rushed for 100+ yards with 110 on the evening. It was his sixth 100-yard rushing game this season.

Mike Balogun
• Mike Balogun tallied a career high with six tackles.
