Baylor 70, Oklahoma 60

• Oklahoma led 34-31 at halftime at No. 13/14 Baylor and was down by just one (49-48) with nine minutes left, but was outscored 21-12 down the stretch in a 70-60 road loss.

• The Sooners lost despite holding Baylor to .389 field goal shooting and outrebounding the Bears 37-36.

• Baylor finished with a 24-point advantage from 3-point range.  It went 8-for-23 from behind the arc while OU was 0-for-12. It marked the first time in 511 games (Dec. 23, 2006, at Memphis) that the Sooners went without a 3-point make.

• In 16 Big 12 games, OU opponents have made 127 treys to the Sooners’ 56. That equates to a difference of 13.3 points per game from 3-point territory.

• The Sooners led for the majority of the first half. Baylor didn't take the lead for good until Pierre Jackson's 3-pointer with 10:48 remaining made the score 49-46.

• After OU closed to within one point (49-48) at the 9:24 mark, Baylor went on a 10-0 run over the next 3:15 to seize command.

• OU's Steven Pledger scored a game-high 21 points on 8-for-17 shooting. It was his eighth performance of at least 20 points this year (had three all of last season). He was 0-for-5 from 3-point range but 8-for-12 from inside the arc. Pledger also made all five of his free throw attempts after going 6-for-13 over the five previous games.

• Pledger needs just six points to become the 38th player in OU history to reach 1,000.

• Guard Cameron Clark (12 points) scored in double figures for the fourth straight game after doing so just once in the seven previous contests. He was 5-for-8 from the field and is shooting .581 over the last four outings.

• Forward Romero Osby netted 12 points on 5-for-10 shooting and added seven rebounds.

• Forward Andrew Fitzgerald contributed nine points and a team-high nine rebounds in 30 minutes of action. He has been to single-digit scoring in each of the last four outings after reaching double figures in 18 of the 19 previous games.

• The Sooners held Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year Perry Jones III (eight points) and senior forward Quincy Acy (six points) to a combined 14 points on 5-for-16 shooting. The pair entered the game averaging a combined 25.8 points on .537 shooting.

• Oklahoma stays on the road to face Texas on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT (televised by ESPN2).
