NORMAN, Okla. -- For fans unable to attend Friday's baseball game against Kansas, a live video webcast will be available for free on SoonerSports.com. The webcast is being offered at no charge to give fans an introduction to the quality product available in OU All-Access. First-pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
To access the webcast, simply click on the appropriate link on the webcasts page. OU All-Access runs on Microsoft Silverlight, so you may be prompted to download the free program if you have not already done so.
All webcasts of OU baseball home games now include SoonerVision's three-camera perspective which was added this year with the installation of the new video board at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The live Sooner Sports Network radio broadcast accompanies the video, providing fans complete online coverage of Sooner baseball.
The weekend features a battle of two of the Big 12's top five teams. Only one game separates the Sooners in second place and the Jayhawks in fifth. Following is a complete list of promotions from the OU Athletics Marketing Department.
GAME ONE - FRIDAY, MAY 1 - 6:30 p.m.
The first 500 will receive OU mini bats and they can register to win a $100 Circle-K Gift Card.
Fireworks will be lit off following OU runs.
GAME TWO - SATURDAY, MAY 2 - 2 p.m.
"Military Appreciation Day"
The first 500 fans will receive camouflage bandanas.
OU baseball players will be available for autographs along the third base foul line after every Saturday game (weather permitting)
GAME THREE - SUNDAY, MAY 3 - 1 p.m.
"Kids Club Appreciation Day"
Special giveaway for Kids Club members.
Inflatable games for kids at the stadium entrance. Kids are invited to run the bases and play catch in the outfield after every Sunday game. (weather permitting)
TICKETS
Seats remain for the Kansas series and gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.Tickets are available at the gate, online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-GoOU. The office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on the plaza level of the Asp Avenue parking garage.
